• Speech and language assessment and treatment include the following:
     
    *Articulation - the ability to clearly produce speech sounds.
     
    *Receptive Language - the ability to understand spoken, written, and/or gestural language.
     
    *Expressive Language - the ability to speak, write, and/or use other symbol systems (e.g. sign language) to communicate.
     
    *Voice - vocal quality including characteristics such as loudness, pitch, or resonance.
     
    *Fluency - repetitions in sounds, syllables, words, and phrases or atypical rate/rhythm.
     
    *Pragmatic Language - social language skills used in our daily interactions with others.
